I have on my time line a clip that shows video of a pan from right to
left of the front of a building. I have that clip running, then I
transition into a panning video of the inside of a warehouse, and what
I would like to do is to show, in reverse the first video so that it
looks like it is going from left to right. How would I do this. I saw
nothing in the help file and cannot find anything on the web about it.
Any help would be appreciated.

I will give you a quick clue as I haven't done this recently.

I believe you can do this in the same area where you change the speed
of a clip.

If this doesn't help, hopefully someone else will get back to you
quickly.

I believe you can do this in the same area where you change the speed
of a clip.
ie...highlight the clip you want to reverse in the project area. Then
left click clip, then click on speed/duratiion in the drop down menu.
this will give you a menu to do a reverse and change speed also if you
like. Hope this additional info helps. Would have put all here the
first time, but did not have Pre Pro loaded at the time. rb

ps, just read your request again, and it appears you want that clip to
run forward and backwards. You may need to copy the original clip
first (making a duplicate) then reverse it. Copy it then paste the
copy on the timeline.

Ignoring my first instructions above, you can actually Right click
over the clip that you want to reverse in the TIMELINE and get the
drop down menu to use to do the speed/duration, on which you can do
your reverse.

Hope I didn't confuse you. And hope this is what you needed. If not,
someone else here will surely give you better instructions.
