Greenish cast

I have some video of my son's wedding reception. Everything is going along
fine and then it sounds like someone turns on a switch and color of video
changes to a greenish hue. I can only assume someone turned on some
flourescent lights. I just upgraded to PPro2 because I understand it may be
able to help me correct this even if only somewhat. Any experience with
something like this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like your camera lost its white balance reference. Under the Video
Effects teb in the Project window find Color Corrector, spin open the Black
White balance settings, with the white eyedropper click in the image on the
brighteset/whiteest part, do the same with the black eyedropper/darkest, and
grey/average midtone. That should give you the correct color and remove the
color cast. To repeat these settings to another clip Right+click and select
comy, then select new clip and Right+click and select paste attributes.
good luck with your edit.

Well I finally got around to looking at this and there are 2 color
correction effects that might apply: Fast Color Correction and Three-Way
Color Correction. Neither are trivial by any means. I've looked at the
help. Does anyone have a pointer to a good tutorial on how to effectively
use these effects?

There is an article in the resource section of Adobe.com about removing
greenish hue but it's for PPro 1.5 and the instructions don't seem to apply
to 2.0.
