hello all,

I need to combine two video-clips in the same picture so that one of
the clips can be seen in the upper right corner of the other. I've been
looking through all of the effects but I can't find it there. Does
anyone know if Premiere has this function at all?

Furthermore, the solution of some of my avi files seems to be too large
for premiere. In the "capture" frame it's possible to see the entire
picture, but when I move it to the sequence it's only possible to see
about 50 %. I have tried to export a clip, and open it in wmp and they
remain being cut down to the half, has anyone else had this problem?

Best

About the picture in picture that's not so difficult. Put the clip you want
to see in the corner in the timeline on top op the other clip (Video 2 or
above). Select it and select- window- effects. At first scale the clip the
size you want it, then put it in the corner you want it to be. That's all.
Suggestion about the second problem; Have you tried the fit-option in the
monitor-window?

Reinie.

Hi Reinie,

Thanks! I finally made it work with your advice. Regarding the other
problem it was not because of the monitor window - my materials come
from very different sources, ordinary video recordings as well as video
captures of computergame sessions, and I suppose those formats are not
entirely alike. However, I found out that you could check a little box
in the project settings that made the videoclips fit with the rest of
the project settings and that solved the problem.
