Hi....I just spent hours to edit a project....I saved everything...closed Premiere Pro 1.0 down....turned my computer off....now when I go back and try to continue editing the project a message comes up and says that some of the media is offline and wants me to re-link it to the original media...
But when I try and do that I get a message that says..."The file cannot be linked because it has 2 audio channels and the clip was created with one audio channel".....so about half of my project is now offline and I am unable to re-link it...though I can import the very same file (which is now an avi file of course after being captured onto my drive) back into the same project...
Something very strange happens when I drop it (the imported avi which was captured onto my drive) on the timeline ...the audio now sounds like a chipmunk...something happened to the audio....I had to slow the audio down 50% in order for it to sound normal....
I am trying to link my project to the original clip which I captured when I first started the project.
I don't remember changing any of the audio settings at any time for this project....what gives?....I really need to re-link the media...
It is almost like just the clip's audo somehow been corrupted (increased in speed)...but again...after I "strech the audio" (or slow it down 50%) the clip plays normal...and the video is still fine...
If anyone could help with this I would be thankful....
Thanks...
