Blurry Screen From Titles

When a title comes up on my screen, all the video gets blurry, including the title as well. As soon as the title fades away, the subject an all the video become clear again. I didn't have this problem with an older project, just on this new project. All the settings are the same from between the old and new project. The only difference is that I used a better camera to download the video (which the client supplied). One more thing, I imported a smaller section of the new project as a movie to see what would happen. When I watched this smaller movie on Windows Media Player it looked clear. I really don't like it being blurry, it worries me because I don't want to give the client back a program with blurry sections over the titles.

Have you rendered?

I think so. I am a little new to this. I went to file>export>movie and saved an .avi version. When I watch the .avi version with Windows Media Play, it is clear as a bell. I just want to know if there is anyway I can get Premiere to be more wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) when working with titles.

Be sure your Monitor window is set to High Quality instead of Auto. In the interest of speed, PPro may be dropping your quality when overlay text is onscreen. In the middle, bottom of the monitor is the control panel.

Rendering is achieved either through the menus or by hitting <ENTER>. This calculates the changed frames before playback and is likely to give better picture quality than realtime preview without rendering.

If you export, any required rendering is completed automatically during the process.

Rendering solved the problem. I now see the screen clearly. Thank you all for the info. I am sure I will have some other questions, and maybe one day I can answer a few questions.

That's a relief. If it had been something else we might have struggled to find it !!
