Premiere Pro 2.0 crashes every time I try to export to any type of format

PP 2.0 crashes whenever I try to export, regardless of the format.
I've seen this problem a few places on the internet, including here at
adobe.premiere.pro.win, but no one seems to have a solution. Any
takers?

Oh, and I'm using an ATI X800 256mb card, AMD x64 3500+, 1GB RAM, and
two WD1600JS drives as a RAID 0 array. Windows XP Pro SP2. I have
Catalyst 7.1 drivers installed.
