Speed of rolling credits?

I was making rolling credits, problem is that Premiere scrolls them too fast. I put in a new value for speed of a clip but now credits a re jerky and jumpy, they are not smooth anymore...

Is there another way of controlling their speed?

Put the mouse pointer at the end of the rolling credits clip. When you see a red bracket with an arrow on it, left-click on your mouse and drag the clip to be the desired length.
