How . . . which format and settings . . . do you make a movie without being a half a gigabyte? The lessons CD that comes with Adobe Classroom in a Book Premiere Pro has a 6 minute 43 second movie, excellent quality, that is only 107 mg. I've experimented with almost all the settings, and I always get from 400 to 500 mg for a 2½-minute movie! What can I do?

I'd like to add to your question. I made a 1 hour 50 minute movie including many cuts, transitions, underlying music and 20 minutes of stills. I first tried to export the finished product to DVD without rendering and it came up at 9.5 GIG using what I think is best quality. I rendered the project and it reduced somewhat. I was only able to make the DVD if I set the quality as poor and with one pass. I know the rule of 5 minutes per GIG when importing an AVI file. Are there rules of thumb when creating projects, or am I doing something wrong? I'm new to Premiere Pro and I'm learning by reading and doing.

Eddie gets that question a lot. Look in his signature. The link is there. Then there is a link at the top of the forum's main page as well.
