Audio at end of MP3 file being removed

When I import an MP3 file into Premiere Pro, a small portion of audio is being removed. The original MP3 file is fine when I play it in Windows Media Player, but after the import here is what happens:

Original Audio plays:

"Click YES to continue."

After importing the MP3 file into Premiere it plays:

"Click YES to con--" and the audio clips half way through the word continue

I cannot extend the MP3 file in premiere.

Any Ideas?
