PP1.5

I know it's me doing something stupid, but I cannot figure out what it is. In the timeline, I click on the down arrow to expand Video 2. I then click on the icon below and to the left of it to select "Show Keyframes." All should be well, but it's not.

I have Transform on the clip. I can see "Transform" over the top of the clip. I can also select its dropdown arrow for Motion, Opacity and Transform. I click on Transform and select "Anchor Point."

I then look back right below "Video 2" on the far left of the timeline, and the "left, add and right" keyframe buttons/icons are still greyed out. The track is not locked, either.

What gives?????

Oh, how stupid..... it seems I can add all I want by using the Effects Control! But still, why can't I use the buttons in the timeline???

Doberman, is animation toggled on? You won't be able to do anything in the timeline with keyframes until you activate animation. Make sure the little stopwatch next to the value (Anchor Point in your case) is depressed. As soon as you do this you should see your 'add' button spring to life but the left and right arrows won't work until you're either left or right of a keyframe.

Yep, that was it. So many little fine details to learn with PP. I'm stumped on another problem right now, but I am not done searching for existing threads here yet.....

Thanks!
