Transcoding...

I have been trying to burn to a DVD yet again. And still no success. I have a dialogue box called 'recording progress' that tells me that transcoding is taking place, with 6 little green bar on display ... after 12 hours!

Task Manager says that premiere pro is running ... but does not want any processing power! the computer is idling at 1% tick-over.

what should I do? PPro seems to have stalled but has reported no errors?

The button headed 'Cancel this Recording' has no effect.

Task Manager will kill the app but that does not result in a DVD :-(

Any suggestions as to why this consistently freezes?

First time caller? Sorry, for the kid on your other thread.
Your issue could be caused by any number of things.
You provided no clues for anyone to really be of any help.
Check the rules of the game thread at the top of the list.

Martin, I have the exact same problem and have never found a solution. If you find out why Transcoding seems to quit after 6 green bars on the trascoding progress, please let me know. We can't be the only two with this problem.
